My life is like a yo-yo

Do you ever feel so up and down you that wonder if there is something wrong with you? I am just a mess! I can have a great week with the kids and love being a mom and in just a few hours of naughty I can forget all that happiness and just want so badly to lock myself in the closet. I will find a strong interest in a hobby and go at it strong for a day or two and then not even want to look at my waiting project. I can bawl my eyes out and have the spirit touch my heart and forget about my feelings all to quickly. Don't get me started on exercise and diet, I am on and off that band wagon to many times to count in a week. Cooking is the same story, a week or two of deli-sh food on the table followed by a week of burgers and sloppy joes. One week I will be out and about wanting to socialize and talk to anyone I can make eye contact with, and than I crawl back into my hole hiding from anyone that speaks in full sentences. Believe me I could go on... why am I posting this?? I need stability in my life, but I don't know how to obtain it. Maybe I just have A.D.D. Okay I am pretty sure I have A.D.D. But someone out there help me out. How do I keep an interest and stay motivated?

New Do

I had to chop of those blond curls. It was a love hate relationship. After a bath he would look so darling, but after a nap he looked a crazy loone! I tried trimming it up to no avail, I brought out the clippers.

His hair is no longer blond, it more of a sandy brown, I am sure as the summer comes so will the blond. It's just hair, and so much easier to handle. Now if his sister could grow more than just her little 2 inch mullet, momma would be happy.

Well its offical. I may not have an official picture, but it is what it is. It's almost like a light bulb just switched. She has been cruising and taking steps here and there for months and than tonight... well she just took off like a mad man. kinda took us by surprise. She was all over the house with in minutes.

I am strugglin in the picture department, but this was dress up today.

Hadley was dressed as princess Hadley and Hayden was prince Tonka. You have to improvise when your son has to copy everything that his sister does, vice verse. So a quick tid bit. Hayden whined for like a week that his ear was hurting him so I took him to the doc and there was NO ear infection and I think I figured it out, it was his hair, it WAS so shaggy. So I trimmed up the sides. 5 days later no complaints about his ear, but he looks like a goof. Total muffin top, 80's look. I may just buzz it off cuz I feel bad for him. I will have take a pic of him after a bath he looks Exactly like his Dad and Uncle Jason when they were little.

Nothing like a dip in the pool in February and a couple trips to the splash park

Caught red handed. OH these kiddos just feed off each other. I only see it getting worse as times goes on. You may be thinking what the CRAP is Holly doing with a jumbo tub of peanuts. I have no answer...

Okay so I have been playing hard these last couple months, I swear my life is one big party. But I have been pretty anti-blog and fb lately. We all go through phases right? Anyway I have some pictures to share of recent events. Over the MLK weekend we went up north about 30 minutes to Deer field beach and just kinda kicked it. It was a gloomy day so not much for the beach but we found some playgrounds and breath taking scenery. I know I say this everytime I post, but I am in love with where I live. We were having hurricane warnings and still place was gorgeous!

yeah it was windy, but not as bad as it looks in the photo.

The next weekend my mom and Jamie came out for a little trip. I have had more visitors in the last 8 months than 4 years in Ohio (okay not really, but we are getting really close)
Mom was pretty entimated by all the alligators down here, so we had to take her to shark Valley and a Gator swamp tour. We did not disappoint. We went to Sanibal Island and went sea shell hunting. Saw a beatiful sunset on a Naples beach (horrible with names.) We drank a thousand gallons of free juice at fruit stand in Ft. Myers.

We are talking white sandy beaches PEOPLE!

Here are a couple pics with mom and the gators.
She claims she still fears for our lives in South Florida. Even though it was a 40 minute drive from our house to see the gates.

Alligator wrestling show.

Mai-Kai Polynesian restaurant. They had dancers doing dances from different islands and Men playing with fire, accidentally dropping it into the crowd and than starting the floor on fire! So entertaining.

They had the place decked out with island decor.

One of my family favorite things to do, go down to Hollywood beach and eat ice cream. Like I said, I love my life (not so much my scale after a total splurge the last 2 months of my party life, but I still love my life)

While sitting on the beach, Jam broke out her phone and started a disco for us. Oh Hadley was going crazy. The girls got the gangster moves! She puts her arms up at the 90 degree angle and rocks back and forth. Hilarious.

Of course I miss my mommy and sis and wish everyone could live closer and enjoy this weather with me it was a tad chilly while they were here, but mom needed 70 degree weather I don't think she would love what 80's feels like here! Anyhoo.. the very next weekend after they left we went to Orlando. What a blast. Lets see if I can get my act together for another post for DW!

Hadley's 1st bday, with many more to come

So all Hadley's pictures are on Dan's school camera, and he keeps forgetting to bring it home so I just stole these off my sisters blog. Can I just tell you how much I love having a girl? Honestly Hadley had a blast, but as her mom I was just in heaven. It was the first time We have been home for one of my kiddos birthdays and the WHOLE family came. Can we say crazy, fun?

My sister Jamie is more than just crafty. I had this idea in my head and without winking she helped me pull it off. She is so talented. She helped me make this super cute cupcake toppers and a banner that said "HADLEY."

Don't they just look so fun? We had a BUTT load of pizza. My poor kids weren't on top of there game that night (A few night later Hayden got the flu, so that explains Y he was struggling so bad) Hadley loved watching all the boys "help" her open all her presents. This girl got SO spoiled and I loved it. So many dolls and much needed girlie toys.

She wanted so badly to eat the cake as soon as she blew out the candle. This girl knows what she wants!

She did not hesitate to start on the cake. She sat and ate the frosting for about ten minutes before she figured out the cake was underneath the frosting.

Where do I start with my baby at 1 year?
She has so many girlie features and a momma's girl
She will honestly makeout with anyone, caught her and her cousin Luke going at it many a times
She will break out laughing when you break out any doll
She tries so hard to play with her brother and even likes cars
She has huge blister on her thumb from sucking it at night
She cannot go to bed without a blanket and she is quite particular about which one, it has to be pink or Minnie mouse or Hayden's favorite monkey blanket.
She will eat ANY thing. Not an exaggeration. (she used to not eat some fruits but has come around.)
She can out eat her brother and sometimes her mother. Most the time when she is finished eating she will try to eat off Hayden's plate.
She will walk around all day holding your pinkie, but if you let go she immediately falls to the floor.
She still has no problem sleeping at night or naps as long as she has a blanket and a thumb
She has very good vocabulary that she adds to everyday, including momma, dadda, snack, oh no! Speg O, tree, pretty, whats'that, there go, etc.
She is more than obsessed with cups. She can see one across the room and V-line it to take a sip
She loves to throw fits, she is such a drama queen. She really knows what she wants and if you try and get in her way she will let you know, in a very loud voice.
She is huge for a girl her age. 1 year check up 25lbs! Hayden is only 26 1/2lbs.
When you yell at her for being naughty she will turn around and smile at you and go right back to what she was doing.
Hadley over all is such a bright, bubbly personality. She has a light about her. She has such a different personality than her brother. I am glad she is with us, to add some spice and life to the party in our lives. Oh and one of the best things to report about Hadley is SHE IS GETTING
LITTLE HAIR!

a glimpse

I am taking it slow getting back into things now I am back to Flordia. Pretty much I am to lazy to make much a post of my awesome trip, but here is a quick glimpse.

Judd's AWESOME concert. All you need to know... Love can build a bridge.

Grandpa with his only grand baby girl.

Santa Clause at the Ogden lights EQUALS disaster for my Florida kids. Hayden cried When he saw Santa. Then they both bawled the whole 20 minutes we were there because they were so cold( I swear it took 2 hours to prep them for 20 min trip!). But at Least Corbin got to ask Santa for that candy cane, thank goodness!

the kids got along great (most of the time) so awesome to have them all together.

Chick-fil-A Play ground. Are my sisters super cute!?

Of course keen had to get this picture, I think it was 1 in the morning that's why I look so great! But we are proud of our journey!

Month of accomplishments in our home

Much like the rest of the world, I feel like there is always something going on in our home. We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. Dan had some time off school. We had fun friends and their kiddos over for Turkey dinner. Dan's sister came into town for a night and we got to know her hubby a little better and Dan's old high school buddies got to kick it with us for a few hours and watch the big game Saturday.(Utes and BYU). Things have slowed just a tad bit for a minute or two. We are looking forward to our big trip to Utah for the Christmas season and Miss Hadley is either teething or has a cold. Either way we have stayed home a lot this week to let Hadley get some extra zzzzz's. But the weather has been awesome so Hayden and I have been playing much more in the yard. We washed the car the other day and it was the first time Hayden and I didn't fight over whose turn it was to use the hose the whole time! Anyhoo... as for accomplishments lets get started.

Only pic taken on T-day

Hadley has not only conquered the huge stairway we have in our home, but she also knows how to go DOWN the stairs as well! She is a quick learner. She is down to one bottle a day and had no problems adjusting to milk. She easily crawls around now. No real interest in walking. She can lift herself on just about anything. I have caught this little girl saying quite a few random words (but only when she wants too) like Hayden, thank you and toothbrush. (her Dad is a dentist!) She continues to amaze me at how quick she catches on to things. She loves to stand on all fours and stick her bum in the air and sways forward and backward when she is dancing or sitting she will move her entire upper body back and forth with her hands in the air. Favorite toys would be her cookie jar and the printer. Her first birthday is coming up this month, and I am sure she will continue to bring smiles to our faces for years to come.

Where to start with Hayden. Lets start with the best one for mom. He finally counted to 3! This has taken so stinkin long I about gave up! Whenever you asked him to count he would say "one, two..one!" all excited. Sure it's cute, but I spent like 6 months trying to get him to count to 3. Let's just hope it sticks in his noggin. He also learned how to drive Daniel's train that we got out for Christmas. He is actually really good at controlling the remote for the train. Hayden is really good at telling Hadley what to do/what not to do. He has been coming out of his shell more. He is more confident around people and takes much shorter times to warm up to people. He loves riding his bike with Daddy to go get the mail. Favorite toy is his train by far.

Dan is going to kill me. He found my hidden drawer of goodies. At least I know Hadley will look super cute when she gets hair!

Holly's accomplishments start with her amazing black Friday shopping. Got everything minus one on my list. What a thrill, I love it. I also have officially lost all my baby weight before my baby turned one! I lost Hadley's pregnancy weight quite quickly, it was Hayden's I was still working on! Thanks Insanity and my mind for not going insane because I spent the kids nap time EVERY day doing Insanity! Also I have been getting much better with my patience with Hayden. Love the kid, but he is very stubborn.

Heading back out on black Friday after a REALLY late night shopping. Yeah, not in a good mood. Why am I posting this picture?? It is a really bad picture, now you know my true colors, ha!

I am so proud of my Daniel. Along with the patients already in treatment he has put on a few new sets of braces. I swear it feels like he just started but he is in full swing of things! You should see the wires this kid bends, blow your mind bends! He picked the right field. Now that it is cooler (80's) he has started riding his bike to school. I think the biggest sacrifice for this guy is his naps. They have become none existent, other than Sunday naps. Between school, family and homework. This kid has no time for himself.

I can't help but remind myself every time I feel sorry for myself that I don't see my hubby much, that God has always had his hand in my life. I truly believe Heavenly Father send us to south Florida to pay a trillion dollars in tuition and living expenses because it was best for our family. I know I see Daniel much more than most other Orthodontic programs. With the Holiday season upon us, I love sharing Jesus stories with Hayden. Telling him about Jesus birthday and how much he loves us. I know that Heavenly Father has given me a special relationship with Dan and each of my children. He has given me a testimony of the gospel and let me slowly figure things our for myself. He keeps me in line by reminding me of my blessing. He is a beautiful Savior.
