In-laws are in town

Like I say every post, my life is a party. Spring break 2011 BABY! Dan had the week off and his parents came for their first visit. Cindy fell in love (how could you not?) I let Bruce(Dad) take all the pictures and than had all intentions of copying them, but of course I spaced it. So I have very little in the picture department. But we stayed busy!

We went to down town Ft. Lauderdale to hit up the St. Patties Parade

Shark Valley Park has tons of "A-gator" as Hadley would say. You can walk right up to them, but I think you get a ticket if you get to close or try to touch em. Hadley can always find the "Tutll" can you tell we were getting a little roasty? What am I going to do when it gets hotter!? We really do only have 2 seasons... hot and very hot!

I swear I never get pics' of my man. Here is a shout out to my Hispanic lover!

The infamous Gator park. Hayden walked around for about 30 minutes with those on before we ever even got on the boat.

It was so fun for Cindy and Bruce to be in the warm weather, I think they really enjoyed it and Cindy ate up Hadley every chance she got. Hadley was so attached to Cindy and Bruce and I felt bad because Hadley is almost as tall as Cindy! I thought Cindy was going to fall over whenever she picked her up.

Bruce was freaking out the first couple alligators he saw in the wild. Than once he saw about 50 of 'em he calmed down a bit. But you can see the excitement in his eyes!

Some kind of dragon lizard the kids got to pet. Did I mention a snake is living in my front yard? Talk about anxiety! Dan won't kill it because he said he is doing more good than harm (supposedly eating all those massive spiders and bugs Holly is freaked out about.)

I can't even recall all the times we went out to eat. The parentals thought they had to treat us 24-7. Lets not talk about the weight I gained the 10 days they were here. This picture is of us having pizza on the beach in front of the Hollywood broad walk.

oh boy I could go on and on about beach stories. Hayden loves to just kick it on his monkey towel Grandma Lou gave him. DO NOT mess with his towel! Bruce learned the hard way.

Check out that cleavage! You could spot this girls swimsuit a mile away. She and Grandma were really into checking out all the hotties on the beach.

I loved that Cindy loved the beach so much. We could soak up our vitamin D all week long.

We went to Ft Meyers and took a catamaran boat ride. It was suppose to be this most relaxing ride in the middle of the ocean. It turned out to be more of a keep Hadley alive kind of trip! It was just to hard for her. She wanted to go everywhere and you can't because a poll can swing at any moment and wack her, she was ready to dive off the boat without hesitation. Oh what a power struggle for the whole family. Hayden was the perfect little boy. Just sitting there commentating our every move and just still!

I felt bad for the grandparents so I dragged Hadley to the front that had a drop down seating, where I could kinda contain her and let Bruce and Cindy enjoy the ride. ( the life jackets lasted all of 5 min) I am sure the people sitting there were more than put off, but they were pleasant and tried to help entertain her.

This is me giving up! I was honestly getting sea sick from running around trying to keep my daughter alive.

Cindy and I hit up the beach alone her last day. It was unbelievably crowded from spring breakers! Usually this place is empty so I had to get a shot at how packed it was.

My Man looks SO fine with some color! Besides the lack of hair, my baby does not look like a baby anymore!!

I more than enjoy having visitors and loved not only seeing the in-laws but seeing the kiddos build more of a relationship with their grandparents. That is the hardest thing about living away from your family, you feel like your kids are missing out on those family bonds. So it was special for Dan and I to see how much the kiddos loved their grandparents. And it was nice for me to have Cindy around, so we could make fun of our hubbies together! Bruce and his liquid gold, aka sun block. Dan with his newly acquired lisp from his lingual braces. It was good times. good times..

The moment has come....

Hayden: Mom, where you going?
Mom: To the store to get some stuff for Hadley's hair
Hayden: Mom... where's Hadley's hair?

So I may be jumping the gun here, but I got pretty excited. Hadley had enough of a mullet that I can put it into two little pig tales. It makes her look kinda hillbilly, but it helps with a more "girlie" look. What do you think, should I hold off a while longer or start bundling up that mullet?
