We are on the Move

Kiddo figured out how to crawl. So weird that my kid can MOVE! But I am in trouble, his favorite thing to crawl too..... cords. Any cord any where! Time to start the baby proofing.

Hayden 9 Months stats 21.5 pounds, average height and a BIG HEAD! (image that??)

Here is a clip of him going after the vacuum cord.

BoY's WiLl Be BoYs

I am not used to having boys yet! This kid gets into EVERYTHING. He is getting to be very mobile. We had our first big accident the other day. Hayden pulled on the curtains in his bedroom and knocked the curtain rod right off the wall and it landed smack in the middle of his forehead. He didn't act to hurt, but man it looked bad! within minutes it was a huge golf ball on his head. Here he is moments after.
You could tell that it must be hurting because he actually sat still for a good half hour and let me put ice on it.

This kid can be such a stinker some times! But most the time he is mom's little buddy. He is loving more and more food (less and less milk!) He finally learned how to flip over and now he is none stop. He can crawl a little, mostly backwards and in circles. But when he wants something, he will find a way to get it. His cruisin' skills are nothing to rant about yet, but he is working on it. He talks about Dada all day long and every so often a mama and nanana will pop out. Hayden is my cutie and I love showing off pictures of him!

Part II

Later that week, Keen and her Fam came to visit. Talk about entertainment! Corbin was just hilarious. He had a little song he made up and would sing ALL the time. But heaven forbid you try and sing along, it's HIS song! He kept telling me how cute my baby was and how he wanted to take a bath with him. And how he really, really, really needs a treat! He keep the laughs coming. The first day we went to Ej's mission in Cincinnati and he showed us his hood, and took us to an awesome childern's museum.

Corbin wouldn't hold still in the museum because it was so cool, so we got a pic of Haydes instead. If anyone is looking for a day trip, go to the childern's museum in Cinci, it was awesome!

One of the many baths these two kiddos had together.
We than took a trip to Palmyra. We have been there a few times, but I swear every time it gets neater!
Corbin was in charge of Hayden!

Palmyra Temple
This time in the Sacred Grove was just so special. To actually bring your family there and enjoy it together, and having kids really makes you think about how important this place was and still is. Because Heavenly Father and His son appeared to Joseph Smith Jr. and restored this gospel on the Earth today, I can have an eternal Family. God is real, and he understands the pain you are going through. He loves us so much, he loves me so much. I hope in the future I can bring my whole family here with my grand kids and help them to understand the great sacrifices that were made to bring this gospel here today.
At the hotel we put Hayden in the pool, he did so good and even let me dunk him a few times. Dan was trying to get him to float, yeah didn't quite work. But while we were in a circle around the hot tub Corbin was walking down the stairs in the tub and just keep on going, til his head was under water. What a scare because no one notice except Ej, who had the camera in his hand. So Corbin was saved and the sacrifice of the camera was made!

How can you not believe in a God when we have such natural beauties as this! Niagra Falls.
OOOOOOOOOh the beloved dumpster. Long story short. We got our little boys matching Niagara Outfits and when I went to put Hayden's on in the morning and someone realized that they must have thrown out the bag the night before, outside the hotel! After I went and spoke to the Hotel manager (we are about 4 hours away from Niagara) she fed me full of a story about a trash compactor, I gave up hope and went to let my husband know he was NOT forgiven! Nothing makes a hubby move faster than a red faced crazy lady! So after a half hour or so of him digging through the dumpster in the pouring rain he found that outfit, and besides the smell mom was happy again! Thank you Daniel!
We headed to Kirtland and found out that the temple is closed on Mondays and the Morley farm was also. But we still had a great experience.
I can't believe Corbin did so well during the long hours in the car. He had to sit in the back seat all by himself! Of course he had to have Hayden right in front of him at all times. But Corbin did great in the car!
Keen and I TRYING to make sweat shorts. Lets just say after 3 unpickings, we put two pairs together. These shorts would not have won any prizes. Sorry Jam, you got the short end of the stick.
The last day at COSI. Once again Corbin had a blast! So fun to let him just run around like a crazy kid!
TADAA! The matching outfits! Aren't they cutest cousins! I miss My sister and her fam already!

April was a blast Part 1

Boy did April just fly by for us? I still can't believe it is May already. We had half the family come out and spent time with us last month and it was just so fun. Mom came and spoiled Hayden rotten (me too!) and we got to spent Easter together. We kinda did the big dinner on Saturday because Mom was leaving. But Lori and her friend came over to kick it with mom too, so we had a pretty full house, I loved it for the most part!

Dan flying a kite right before a huge thunder storm hit, thank you Ohio weather. Hayden was NOT in the mood, but he definitely liked the tail on the kite.

Mom's OBSESSION with Deal or No Deal. Yeah she is now a millionaire after hours and hours of playing! Howie and I.........not on speaking terms!
Coloring Easter eggs.
Hayden finally decided that he really likes Grandma this trip and actually snuggled and let mom smother him to death.
Kiddo at the Zoo. No clue as to what was going on!

All the girls on a boat ride. We had a lot of fun at the Zoo, Jen was bugging the Lion so bad that she got him to roar at us. Pretty cool. Anyway it was so fun to have Mom here. It makes me miss her looniness, always better in person than on the phone :) Thanks Mom for coming!
