Disney World

This is what we do when we go to Disney World! Ha, my kids love that they have TV to watch. Pretty comical for Dan and I! We decided to make a goal to hit up the temple on a regular basis, which happens to be 30 min from DW. So we took the kiddos and we all had a blast.
The car ride Hayden begged to go on ten million times, Ky's couldn't go on this one so we did parent swap which made us not want to go ten million times! The lines were great, hardly had to wait more than 10 minutes for a ride.
Hayden got to have the Orange car. He also got his drivers license.

The boys getting ready to speed down the track.
Hads on the tomorrow land train. So nice to get some cool air in our hair!
Yeah we try to act like we are wild and crazy, but I must say that my kiddos did hit up a roller coaster. Hayden had mixed feelings after he went, but Had's was ready to go again. (It was the new one in the new fantasy land next to the dumbo ride)
The treasured Dumbo ride. This we DID wait forever to get on, but the kids wanted it so bad, all 30 seconds of it!
 Cat nap Ky!
 Wild man!
The carousel that they went on 5 times!
 Happy kids!
P.S. we decided the day before to make this trip and we got an unbelievable deal on a hotel, we love price-line!

4 month Ky's and Butterfly World

So I realized I haven't blogged in forever, but better late than never huh? Kylee cracks me up. She is the queen of cat naps, you put her down for 5 minutes and come back and this is what you will find. She gets in a quick 20 min snooze and is ready to go again.
I was trying to get a picture of Kylee in her Ohio State apparel on the way to her 4 month check up, total thumb sucker.

These are my totally out of control Children at Ky's appointment waiting 2 1/2 hours to been seen!

Naked baby waiting at the Dr. I have always choose to go to the school clinic in order to support the students because  Dan is a student in need of patients. But after more than 2 years going there this appointment was the last straw. I actually really enjoyed the Dr. but the nurses are outrageous! While they try their hardest to be sweet and nice, they are overbearing and scare my children to death more than once they have forgotten about us waiting in the room and giving shots is like torturing children. My poor baby had to endure while the nurse would clean the area, give ONE shot, clean it again put on a bandage and prep for the next shot and clean the next area, give just ONE shot again etc. Giving shots is like a 10 minute procedure. Not to mention the fact that when the nurse gave Kylee her oral immunization she  tried to use Kylee's receiving blanket to clean up the liquid that didn't make it in the mouth! HELLO Lady! We have made it to our new Dr. a couple times and it is so much better, I am sorry I tried to support the school, but a mother can only go so far....
This was a super fun, super duper hot activity! They had some promotion for Butterfly World, which now 3 months later I can't recall but we went and met a couple of friends there including Hayden's love Ava. (Hayden hasn't seen her in weeks because of vacations and such and he started asking about her yesterday, telling me he needed to go to her house because he loves her SO much!)
Anyhoo, back to Butterfly World. Totally awesome. Thousands of Butterfly's all over flying right in your face. I really enjoyed all the different colors and species. Some were huge like the size of my hand. The kids loved chasing them even though it was like ten million degrees!

Crazy funky flowers! They had plenty of exotic plants!
The had a bug zoo that kinda gave me the creepy crawlies, but it was inside which meant AC! It smelled so weird, but I tried not to think about it. They had walls and walls of all sorts of bugs!
Check out that beetle that as big as Ky's head! pretty awesome, glad they were dead. The next room over, not so lucky. Lots of bugs in little glass cages, like coach-roaches, grass hoppers, tarantulas. The kids thought it was awesome. I just kept my distance and let them run around bugging all the bugs.
