Things have really picked up around our house. Grandpa passed away last week and Lori and I decided he deserved to have all of his grand kids together. So Lori, Jen, Dan, Hades and I drove the 26 hours home (straight) to be there for his funeral. Grandpa was such a special person. I know people always have good stuff to say about a family member that passes, but Grandpa was different. He was SUPER special. I really loved Grandpa, he had such a quiet, relaxed personality. But would totally throw you off guard with a joke here and there. He was the kinda person that helped you better yourself with out telling you how to do it. He was just so awesome. It was bitter sweet for everyone. God has taken him in his arms and reunited him with his true love. I pray that I can lead a life that will make Grandpa proud. It was so worth going to spend those few moments with his spirit. Unfortunately Travis and I had a switch up with cameras so we didn't have our camera most of the trip.

On another note. It was SO fun being at home. Colleen helped me put together my first rag quilt. Cindy made some wonderful prime rib and I got to spend Thanksgiving with my family! But on the way back the weather had made the roads so bad that it took us about 32 hours to get home. Thanks to Lori and Jen in the backseat for entertaining Hayders! When we got back my wonderful neighbor helped me make Hayden's blessing outfit. I could not have done it without her! Thanks Liz! This is the first outfit I have put together and I am very proud of it. So here is a preview of the big day! But I am low on pictures so the rest are just some random ones.

Twilight

Mom: Hayden, would you like to go see Twilight tonight?
Hayden: Hello! Of course mom!

Mom: Okay, little man, lets go to the movies!

Later that night...
Mom: So Hayden what did you think of the show?

Yes, we enjoyed it! You must go see it for yourself and decide whether or not you are in love like Haders.

Just one more of my cutie, in his super cute outfit his Aunt Christa sent him!

Weekend with mom

So Mom decided to make a emergency trip to visit her girls! Oh wow was it fun! She spolied us rotten and I got to finally see where Lori has been living! It was so great to have her out. I am still not used to this being home so much, and I get kinda lonely. But mom cheered me right up!

Can you believe how much we look like each other. I think I beat out all my sister when it comes to looking like my mom! (thanks mom for my big snowzer! hehe)

Hayden got tons of snuggles in. We would go wake up Grandma every morning to share our loves!

Haders showing off his cowboy boots Grandma got him!

Hayders showing off how well he is getting at standing and posing for the camera. As you can tell he is more into the serious modeling, none of that silly smiling kind.

My BOYS! Oh, I love them both!

Well you can't get Grandma and Hayders smiling at the same time! Gotta take what you can get!

Aunt Lori and our girls night out which Hayders got a private invitation to!

The girls, plus Jen. We had a blast. But Holly forgot her SD card for the camera so Lori you better send over all your pictures!

Lori's new getup. Very spacious. She even kicked a roommate out for the week so HAydes and I could have own room, and Lori and Jen slept on the floor. What awesome host!

Hades will smile all day for Dad! Oh it makes me so jealous!

Yep, more of Haders! I can't believe how old my little guy is getting. He can sit up all by himself (just can't balance himself yet:) ) I have started putting shoes on Hayden just to keep his socks on because he loves to kick ALL the time.

Like Father, like Son. He gets so excited when he gets to be on the big boy bed with Dad.

So hard to get a smile on camera, but he is getting better everyday with his smiles and coo's! Mom LOVES IT!

Question: Are those cheeks edible?

Answer: You can try but I have a mean right hook!

Worst time of the day, Hayden hates tummy time! I think all his chubbs are holding him down :)

Flowers

Last week Dan surprised me with these flowers! Oh, I love flowers. It was totally out of the blue, and I love surprises. Dan I love you! I think a lot of the time I get caught up in my own life keeping busy, it just makes me feel so good when I can stop for a minute and realize how wonderful life is! I seriously have a great Hubby, what kinda guy lets his wife bug the crap out of him when she has nothing better to? He puts up with a lot, especially all the drama:) I think Hayden would agree that he is a great Dad! He works so hard at school and he is focused on what he wants. Best of all he still makes me smile! Thanks Babe, love YA!

Well Hayden is 2 months old now, I seriously have no idea where the time went. I have been horrible at taking pictures but I tried a photo shoot with Hayden and his best friend Mr. Sprinkles. Just proof that Hayden DOES smile and doesn't always have a constipated look on his face!

Everyone said Hayden looks just like his dad but I think he is looking more and more like Mom everyday. What do you think?

Yes, I actually got Dan to dress up, talk about pulling teeth. I painted his face and realize he looked like he had mad cow disease! But the ward Halloween party was a blast, I just love Halloween! I think Hayden is the cutested pumpkin I have ever seen!

Well now that Hayden is 2 months old I need to post about how awesome this kid is! So I will have a another "photo" shoot and talk ALL about my little Haders!

Pumpkin Party

Every year Circleville has an all out Pumpkin Hooray. We have gone every year and I swear every time it gets funner. This time Lori and Jen came with us, but my camera died so she has all the good pics! I carried Hayden around on my carrier and he was dang cute the whole time. Ellen made him this super cute hat that was perfect for the weather. We ate... fried oreo's (pretty good) hot chocolate, pumpkin bread, pumpkin salsa, pumpkin fudge(gross.) Things pumpkin we did not eat...pizza, burgers, pie, cheesecake, waffles, dounuts, butter, things I can't remember. What would you dare try? I am NOT a pumpkin person, (unless of course it is pumpkin chocolate chip cookies!) I am just in it for the fun. Here are the winners for biggest pumpkins.

Hades and his awesome hat. Wow if you want to wear a kid out take him to the festival!

Thanks Lori and Jen for coming, send me some pics to post!!

Bundle of Joy

This is my little Hayders before bed all bundled up in his Winnie the Pooh outfit.

This is 8 hours later when he woke up! That is right EIGHT HOURS! I thought this night would never come! But of course my body was not used to this so after 5 hours I woke up and went into a panic thinking my child was DEAD! So I was went to check on him every hours to make sure he was still breathing so I hardly slept. Please Hayders lets make this a habit!

Aunt Jamie and Uncle Mike

So we Jamie and Mike came and visited us this weekend. So nice to have a them here, we had a blast. I haven't been doing much blogging so I am making up for it with all the pictures. Jamie might post the same pic's but all well.

Mike and Dan's Adventure to White Castle. We have been waiting for them to come to town to try White castle, the famous "Slider" They weren't horrible but I definitely won't be craving these again! How's your stomach Mike??

We went mini golfing and of course it was haunted! Pretty scary!

Yeah Jam and Mike were a lot more scared than Dan and I.

Crazy story, this caged up spider kidnapped Jam and I and was planning to eat us up, until Hayden saved us!

We even made new friends

Hayden had to show off his skills of course, unfortunately he didn't finished the course due to his nap time. Holly was kicking butt on the course and Almost had the whole game, but I had ONE bad round, if I would have been playing Jam style I would have taken a 3 instead of a 7!

We headed to kirtland. It is always nice to remember the saints gathered here in Ohio. Such a gorgeous, relaxing day.

The Zoo was a blast. Can you believe how huge this gorilla is? Well he thought Mike was a threat to him so he tried to attack Mike, it was hilarious, good thing there was a thick pane of glass between the two. Mike, you could have taken him!

Yes, it is a real alligator.

The train ride that lasted about 2 mintutes.

Jam had to spoil Hayden with a super cute Halloween outfit, and AWESOME socks.

Pizza with the crew.

We really had so much fun, thanks for coming and visiting. My house feels so empty now. Hayden loved getting to meet his aunt and uncle.

The big 25 and more

Birthday lunch @ Hoggys

Last week we celebrated Dan's 25th birthday. I know I am behind on the times but it was a busy day, and it is amazing how time fly's when your having fun! wink, wink. We celebrated with black and white balloons and streamers, yeah Dan was not impressed. We had a few friends over for ice cream and Dan's favorite hot fudge cake. Dan and I have known each other for 7 years now and married almost 5. I just live in the past or something because I SWEAR we just gratuated high school and just moved to Ohio. But in reality high school was 6 years ago, we have lived in Ohio for two years and Dan is 25. WOW! Well Dan knows I love him (cuz I cook him dinner every night, lol) so I am not going to make a big mushy post like most people do for Birthdays. I would much rather embarres the kid to death! My hubby is a goof ball. But it's his birthday so I will spare him all the walks of shame!

Hayden trying to fit in, in the HOOD

Playing in his own puke

I went to go wake my little man up and this is how I found him, with a spiderman sticker that Dad INSISTED that he get at the doctors office.

Hayden getting totally sick of posing for mom to take pictures!

Buckeyes game

One embarrassing story to tell about Dan. I know he looks freaky. He was trying to get me to eat this jalapeno seed the other night which I refused and Dan took his hand, which was stinging at the time because he was holding the pepper, and rubbed his eye! It was all red and swollen inside and out. He was in some major pain for a few minutes. You gotta wonder, WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU THINKING!
