Mischeif, Mischeif, Mischeif

I swear, I will never get used to having a little boy around. All they are is trouble. I was watering the other day and turned around for ten seconds to find Hayden had decided the living room carpet needed to be watered! He was just laughing and splashing away. And then today..................................

..........It started as a normal day. Yeah know, the kind where your infant child hits his head on the crib on his way out and starts gushing blood. You know those kinda days, right?! Right!? Probably not, because your sons name is not Hayden. So I freak out a little and call Dan five times over and over until he FINALLY answers. He tries to tell me he is sure he will be fine, but if I want to take him to the doctor to calm my worries go ahead. So call the doc and head on in. As I am driving I am thinking, oh they will tell me to slap a bandage on it and head home. Maybe I can even hit up the mall while I am out. NOT so. The doc takes one look at kiddo and says he needs stitches. Sorry we can't do them here so you better head to the emergency room. What? I have never been to the ER in my entire life. Anyway to make a LONG day short. We got there and after about 5 doc's checked him out ( and questioned me a bazillion times why my son was injured in the first place) and how unwilling he was to stay still for any moment of time, they decided to glue it shut. Thank GOODNESS! I couldn't have handled stitches on my 9 month old. Other than the doc's holding him down to try and glue it, He did great all day. It looks so much better now, looks like just a little scrap.I wonder, will this kid ever live to see preschool graduation at this rate??

Awe Holly! Don't worry, Aiden falls and hits his head on a daily basis and almost needed stitches once. It WILL happen! Boys will be boys!!

I almost cryed when I heard this story. I am going to be the most paranoid mom someday. I am glad he is okay. Cant wait to pinch his cheeks!
